Leah grew up on a horse ranch in Greene County. Throughout her childhood, she was an avid trail rider and participant in 4-H with her horses. These images came to fruition from a dream she had. Originally seeing it as a mural, Leah decided to create a smaller series emphasizing the often mystic nature of these beautiful animals. An artist by day and a musician by night, Leah earned her BFA from Wright State University in 2002 and has explored some of her favorite interests, creating multiple series of horse, landscape, nature, and guitar paintings.
