“I am an intuitive abstract painter based in Dayton, Ohio, working in acrylic with mixed materials through a process-driven approach that balances intuition, structure, and sustained attention. My work moves fluidly between abstraction, gesture, geometry, and stylized landscape, evolving through layering, revision, and response to place. Influenced by the natural and built environments, memory, and music — particularly disco, funk, and 1990s hip hop — my paintings explore rhythm, movement, and visual tension. I am interested in how patterns emerge, dissolve, and re-form over time, and how color and form can hold both energy and stillness within a single surface.”
