Sketch on paper. Mary Eliza Mahoney was the first African-American nurse to be licensed in the United States. She was inducted into the National Women's Hall of Fame in 1993. Harold Hodge came to art later in life, after retirement. He draws, paints and explores many creative outlets at regular art classes in the Dayton area.
